	HATAY - Three people lost their lives in the incident that the prisoners in Hatay Type T Closed Prison revolted and suppressed with the intervention of the soldiers.

	It was stated that the prisoners in Hatay Type T Closed Prison revolted. It was claimed that smoke rose from the prison, gunfire came and the events ended with the intervention of the military.

	 

	According to the information received, the prisoners held in Hatay Type T Prison at noon yesterday rioted by burning the wards. While nearly 250 prisoners were trying to escape from the prison during the riot, the gendarmerie intervened by shooting at the group with a gun. Three of the 12 people who were injured and taken to the hospital died. The prisoners held in prison were transferred to other prisons.

	The reason for the riot was given by the prisoners in a post on Twitter from the newspaper Umut account: "The prisoners are not being able to get news from their relatives and want to stay in a safe place". 	In the audio recording of a phone call that is said to have been made from the prison, it is heard that the prisoner speaking to his father said: "There has been a riot, call all news channels." In another video recording, it is seen that there were many soldiers in the prison courtyard and a fire broke out and the fire brigade came."
