
Attack on prisoners on way to hospital

	AMED – Ronahi Sırdaş, a prisoners in Kayseri Bünyan Women’s Closed Prison, stated that they were attacked by ordinary prisoners when they were taken to the hospital.

	&nbsp;

	Ronahi Sırdaş stated in a phone call with her mother Emine Sırdaş that they were subjected to an attack by ordinary prisoners.

	&nbsp;

	Ronahi Sırdaş stated that on April 30, while going to the hospital with three of his friends, they were attacked by criminal detainees, saying, "We spoke with the administration, and they said 'there will be no security deficiencies'."&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	She also mentioned that a similar attack took place on May 6, adding, "They verbally insulted us. The detainee who attacked our friends and kicked them signaled to another detainee to attack us. They are attacking us in an organized, planned manner."
