Freedom Watch in Strasbourg in its 657th week 2025-01-21 16:50:34 NEWS CENTER - The Freedom Watch in Strasbourg city demanding freedom of Abdullah Öcalan continues in its 657th week.  The Freedom Watch, which started in Strasbourg, France on 25 June 2012 under the leadership of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's Freedom Initiative, continues in its 657th week. Kemal Doğan and Muhsin Çoban, who came from Nancy, France, took over the vigil, which was organized in groups by Kurdish people and their friends living in Europe to ensure the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and to abolish the "İmralı Genocide System".   Speaking about the action, Kemal Doğan stated that the demand of the Kurdish people is Öcalan's freedom and said, "We expect the CPT, especially the Council of Europe, to fulfil their duties."   "If the Turkish state wants to develop a sincere peace with the Kurdish people, our will is Imrali," said Doğan and called on Turkey to stop its attacks on Rojava.
