DİYARBAKIR - Süleyman Bin Khalid student dormitory, one of the shelters opened by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the victims of the earthquake, turned out to be damaged in the earthquake.

It has been revealed that the 2,500-person Suleyman Bin Halid Girls' Dormitory, where students studying at Dicle University stay in the Bağlar district of Amed, which is one of the shelters opened by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the victims of the earthquake, was damaged in the earthquake and had debris on its ceilings. While the students were in their hometowns because it was the semester break, families whose houses were destroyed or damaged despite the calls to stay away from damaged buildings were placed in the dormitory. No statement has been made so far from the authorities as to whether the building is intact or not.

On the other hand, Dicle University Rectorate announced that they have suspended their educational activities for a month.
