Journalists who shot the earthquake rubble were detained

URFA - MA reporter Mahmut Altıntaş and Mehmet Güleş, who was reporting news stories in earthquake areas, and JINNEWS reporter Sema Çağlak were detained.

Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Mahmut Altıntaş and JINNEWS reporter Sema Çağlak were detained in the Birecik district of Urfa, who wanted to shoot the efforts on the building debris destroyed in the earthquake. The police questioned the identity of the reporters who shot the efforts in the earthquake rubble, where the dead bodies of 21 people were removed so far.

The police detained the journalists on the grounds that they did not have turquoise cards.

The reporters, whose health reports were obtained at the district state hospital, were taken to the police station to have their statements. MA reporter Mehmet Güleş was also detained while following the search and rescue efforts in the buildings destroyed in the earthquake in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır. No news can be heard from Güleş, who was detained at around 17.30 after he sent a message stating that he was detained.
