With the warplanes that took off from Diyarbakır last night, there were thousands of citizens who had to migrate from the border cities in the 1990s, and an air attack was carried out on many points in the Shengal and Kandil regions where Êzidî residents lived.
Agencies in the region announced that civilian settlements were also targeted in Mahmur, where the bombing lasted 40 minutes. It is stated that there is no loss of life in the bombardment in Karaçok Mountain and Miştenur region, and detailed explanation is expected in the coming hours. It was stated that Çilê Mêra, Serdeşt, Geliyê Şilo and Koma Simoqya in Shengal were also bombed and there were many people wounded in the attack. It was learned that Çiyayê Direbî, Kozîn, Balayan and Çiyayê Nasir in Kandil were also targeted simultaneously.
81 DISTRICTS BOMBED
An explanation was made by the Ministry of National Defense. The ministry announced that 81 locations were bombed during the operation under the name "Claw-Eagle".
STATEMENT FROM MAXMUR
A statement about the bombing came from the Mahmur People's Assembly Co-chair Hecî Kaçan at night. Stating that they are not strangers to the bombing, Kaçan said, "The people of Mahmur have paid huge prices throughout their life. The people who have resisted all the attacks until now have never stepped back. They can never take the will of the people".
Kaçan said: "We call on the Kurdish people and their friends, with their support, we will resist and not surrender. The people will never step back even if the enemy attacks with immoral methods."
MILITARY SHIPMENT TO BRADOST
Broadcasting from the region after the bombing, ROJnews announced that many Turkish soldiers were deployed to Bradost. According to the report, besides the soldiers, both heavy weapons and construction machinery used in road construction were shipped to the region. Photos of these construction machines were also shared by the agency. It was also stated that the place where the shipment was made is close to the point where the peshmergas of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) are located.
