DİYARBAKIR - Stating that the attacks targets the national unity of the Kurds, PAK MYK Member Hanifi Turan said that the weapon and the remedy of the Kurdish people is national unity.

Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) Central Executive Board (MYK) Member Hanifi Turan evaluated the operation of Turkey against Federated Kurdistan Region. Stating that the Kurds need to unite against these attacks, Turan said: "The weapon and remedy of Kurdish people is national unity."

EVERY GAIN IS IMPORTANT

Stating that the attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region have been going on for years,  Turan condemned the attacks and stated that they favored the political solution of the problem. Stating that the attacks targets the national unity, Turan said: "We have seen the approach of the invader countries like Turkey, Iran, Syria and Iraq that controls the Kurdistan territory during the referandum process. These countries acted in collaboration back then. Iran shut its borders, Iraq sent troops. We saw that none of them supports the gains of the Kurds. Therefore, we say that every gain is important. That's why we have to claim our gains and protect them. And to do that, everyone must take action, including our party.

'I HOPE THIS WILL BE A BEGINNING'

Expressing that they happily welcomed the national union agreement between the Kurdish National Union Parties (PYNK) and the Syrian Kurdish National Council (ENKS) on 16 June, Turan underlined that their parties' attitudes were the same. Turan said: "What we want is that the parties in Rojava come together and establish an administration in terms of politics, economy, education and military. Being able to achieve that today made us happy. We favor this agreement. We congratulate Neçirvan Barzani, Mesut Barzani and Mazlum Kobané who managed this agreement process. We hope that this will be a beginning and Rojava finally achieves a status.

'THE REMEDY OF THE KURDISH PEOPLE IS UNITY'

Turan said: "Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria will never accept any form of national unity. Of course they can threaten us, they can attack us, but we must ensure our unity as our greatest response to these attacks, our greatest weapon. As the Kurdish people, we must be one and act together. Unity must be provided for Kurdistan interests. This is the remedy for the Kurdish people. As the Kurdish nation, we must see our interests above all else. So let's unite against these attacks. ”
