ANKARA - Tayad members were attacked by the police who wanted to submit a petition to the Supreme Court for death fasting Ebru Timtik, Aytaç Ünsal, Didem Akman and Özgür Karakaya. 5 people were taken into custody.

 

A police intervention was carried out against those who wanted to submit a petition for the death fasting People's Law Office lawyers Aytaç Ünsal and Ebru Timtik, and their clients Didem Akman and Özgür Karakaya who are demanding fair trial. 

 

Members of the Association of Solidarity with the Arrested and Convicted Families (TAYAD) wanted to submit a petition to the Supreme Court at 13.00. A police intervention was carried against the TAYAD members in Kumrular street. 5 TAYAD members were taken into custody.

 

TAYAD members started a march to Ankara from İstanbul on July 16 for the death fasting lawyers and their clients' demands to be met. TAYAD members have been taken into custody 5 times along the way. usa Aslan, Hasan Öktem, Hasan Kocaman, Ali Dilmen, Yıldız Turan, Berkay Köroğlu and Didem Akman's mother Zülfiye Akman who were taken into custody in Bursa, are still held under custody.
