URFA - Nizamettin Esen, son of Hamdullah Esen, who has been detained with 2 people for 4 days at Urfa TEM Branch, said "My 55-year-old father is under torture" and shared that he will file a criminal complaint on the subject.

 

Hamdullah Esen (55), Tayip Temel (52) and Mehmet Sait Yardımcı (52), who were detained during house raids by the gendarmerie and police on 4 September in the Viranşehir district of Urfa for "aiding and abetting a terrorist organization" and "being a member of a terrorist organization" are still at the Provincial Security Directorate.

 

Urfa TEM Şube’de 4 gündür 2 kişi ile birlikte gözaltında tutulan Hamdullah Esen’in oğlu Nizamettin Esen, “55 yaşındaki babam işkence altında” diyerek, konuya ilişkin suç duyurusunda bulunacağını paylaştı. 

 

Nizamettin Esen, son of Hamdullah Esen said his father who suffers from high blood pressure is being tortured at the police station. Stating that their attorney couldn't have seen his father for a while now, said: "Police officers were present while my father was seeing his attorney. They didn't let him speak. They made my father sign a paper saying that he did not want an attorney."

 

'MY FATHER IS BEING TORTURED'

 

Stating that his father is under pressure, Esen said: "He is being tortured. The doctors see him but say he is ok without examining him. Our attorney said he had blood all over his body and his face was bruised. He also told that his clothes were torn."

 

Esen said he will file a criminal complaint against the police officers.
