DİYARBAKIR - Rojda Nazlıer, Co-Mayor of Kocaköy Municipality who was replaced with a trustee and arrested, was released at the 4th hearing of the case. 
 
The 4th hearing of the lawsuit filed against Rojda Nazlıer, the co-mayor of Diyarbakır Kocaköy Municipality, who was dismissed from her position with the decision of Ministry of Interior and replaced by a trustee was held today at the Diyarbakır 11th High Criminal Court. Nazlıer was accused of 'being a member of an illegal organization. Nazlıer attended the hearing through the Audio and Video Information System (SEGBİS) from Kayseri Bünyan Women's Closed Prison, where she was being held. His lawyers, Resul Tamur, Diyar Çetedir and Bawer Mızrak, were present at the hearing. Nazlıer's mother, Zahide Nazlıer, also waited at the hall during the trial.
 
It was learned that the statements of the anonymous witness "Lice2019" and the witness Emrah Budak were heard at the hearing.
 
It was stated that the prosecution demanded Nazlıer's punishment for "being a member of a terrorist organization" and demanded the continuation of his detention.
 
Nazlıer's lawyers demanded additional time for the final opinion on the merits, but requested the release of their clients.
 
After the break, the court decided to release Nazlı, taking into account the collection of evidence and the time spent in prison.
