Interrogation of the politicians under custody starts

ANKARA - Police interrogations of some of the 20 HDP politicians detained within the scope of the "Kobanê investigation" have started.

 
Some of the politicians detained for the "Kobané protests" will be giving their statements in the upcoming hours. There are former Peoples' Democratic PArty (HDP) Central Executive Board (MYK) members from back in 2014 and MPs among those who will be giving their statements.
 
HDP Foreign Relations Commission member Nazmi Gür, İmralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder and HDP former MYK member Berfin Köse is currently giving their statements at the Ankara Provincial Security Directorate.
 
 
Lawyers stated that the statements of other politicians will also begin to be taken.
 
Politicians are expected to be brought to the prosecutor's office after giving their statements to the police.
