KARS - 10 people detained in Kars were brought to the courthouse for a deposition to the prosecutor. Kars Municipality Co-Chair Şevin Alaca is still giving her statement at the police headquarters.

 

21 people, including Kars Municipality Co-mayor Şevin Alaca, were detained in a raid on their homes on October 1. While 3 of them were released and 3 of them were arrested by the court; Co-Mayor Şevin Alaca, whose detention periods were extended, and 10 of the other 14 people were brought to the Kars Courthouse for prosecution statements after their procedures at the police headquarters were completed.

 

The names of those referred to the prosecutor's office are as follows: Suat Bayhan, Kaya Naki, Fahrettin Kaya, Reis Baykiz, Hamit Daşdelen, Hamdi Erkmen, Medya Tağay, Halil Kan, Bülent Ağbaba, Ömer Albayrak.

 

Kars Municipality Co-Mayor Şevin Alaca and the other three people are expected to be brought to the prosecutor's office today after being processed at the police headquarters.
