Dozens of families made AKP members in return for aid

NEWS CENTER - While citizens who learned that they were made members to AKP in return for aid in Mersin and Şırnak, the first thing they said they have done was to cancel their membership. 
 
AKP members who identifies the families and their villagers who are struggling financially, visit them to bring humanitarian aid and make them members of AKP without their knowladge. Citizens said they recieved messages after AKP members that visited them asked for their ID and phone numbers. The citizens who were made AKP members without their knowladge, told that the first thing they did when they recieved the message was to cancel their memberships.
 
A large number of people in TOKI Yenimahalle, Vakıfkent and Dicle Neighborhoods in Şırnak as well as many villages and the city center, were made AKP members without their knowladge. 
 
İdris Çevik who was made an AKP member in TOKİ Yenimahalle, without his knowladge, said: "Ten days ago, the doorman of our building said that aid was distributed to families who were struggling financially. He asked us for copies of our ID's to get us on the list to get aid. So we did. A few days later, I recieved a message wellcoming me as a member to AKP. I called the AKP district organization as soon as I got the message and told them that I did not accept being a member to AKP and demanded that my membership to be cancelled. A while later, I recieved another message saying that I was no longer a member. This happened to 10 families in our building alone." 
 
SAME THING HAPPENED IN MERSİN
 
Eyüp Yıldız also experienced a similar situation in the Mediterranean district of Mersin. Yıldız, who has been a tradesman in the city for 30 years, said that he has not been a member of any political party until now. Stating that he received a message on his phone that he was a member of AKP on September 24, Yıldız said: "They say 'Welcome to our family' in the message. They made me an AKP member."
 
Expressing that he called the AKP Mediterranean District Organization after the text message he received, Yıldız said: "They told me that I went there and filled the forms to be a member of the AKP. Five minutes later they called me and said: "Mr. Yıldız, We are sorry, there has been a misunderstanding, someone wrote down a digit of their ID numbers wrong and it turned out to be your ID number. How can this actually happen?"
 
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT
 
Stating that he was in Diyarbakır at the time, Yıldız said, “I have my round trip tickets that I used to solve this problem. I do not accept this fraud in any way. How far will they go with such dishonesty? Despite so much persecution, they still make people members of their parties against their will. I do not understand how they do this."
 
Yıldız stated that he will file a criminal complaint if his membership is not cancelled.
