Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Cizre District Co-chair Güler Tunç and Cizre Municipality Co-mayors Berivan Kutlu, who was dismissed and replaced by a trustee, Cihan Ölmez, Mesut Nart and Umut Çağlık were detained during house raids carried out by TEM (Anti-terror) branch teams.It was stated that the Anti terror police broke down the doors of Tunç and Kutlu.
While the detainees are taken to the District Police Department, it was noted that the number of detentions may increase.
On the other hand, while 9 investigations were opened against Tunç so far, an investigation was opened against him for visiting the grave of his wife and brother-in-law, Mehmet Tunç, who lost his life during curfews in Cizre.
