İSTANBUL - Peace Mothers, warning that the fate of Kurds is one and that all Kurds will lose in a possible war, adressed KDP Leader Mesut Barzani, and said: "We don't want to shed tears anymore".

 

Reactions against the building tension in Federated Kurdistan Region by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) continue unabated. Concerned about the developments, pointing out to the possible dangers of a war, Peace Mothers underlined that national unity must be established. 

 

Stating that the most important step for the Kurds to be taken is the national unity, Peace Mother Emine Erbey said the foreign states are taking advantage of the lack of this unity. Commenting on the relationship between Turkey and KDP, Erbey said: "There are bones of our children under the earth at every step of the Kurdistan soil. This state has caused so much pain to the Kurds. Enough is enough, how long will this take. We want peace and equality. We consider Barzani to be our brother. He shouldn't be doing this." 

 

'THE SOLUTION TO ALL OUR PROBLEMS IS NATIONAL UNITY'

 

Stating that a possible war between the Kurds will not bring anything else but pain and suffering, Erbey said: "Barzani family will be hurt too. They can not win anything by killing their brothers and sisters. This tension doesn't do good to Kurds. War is murder. War is the end of humanity. The solution to all our problems is the national unity. The path to the victory of the Kurds is through national unity. We have to unite and protect each other. We will both lose in case of a war."
