İSTANBUL – Attacking the people at the press statement organized by the HDP İstanbul Provincial Organization about the hunger strike started by the prisoners demanding the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to be lifted, police battered and took scores into custody.

 

Police attacked the press statement organized by Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) regarding the hunger strike started by the prisoners in prisons demanding the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan to be lifted. Scores were beaten and detained before even the press release started. 

 

While the police did not allow the journalist to enter the area blockaded by the police, it was learned that former HDP Co-Chair Sezai Temelli was also battered and his advisor was detained.
