'Federated Kurdistan Regional Parliament should not remain silent about the occupation'

NEWS CENTER - Journalists in the Federated Kurdistan Region stated that the regional government and parliament should not remain silent against Turkey's attacks.
 
The operations launched by Turkey in the Zap, Avaşîn and Metina areas in the Federated Kurdistan Region with the partnership of KDP special forces continue on the 7th day. Another reaction to the attacks came from journalists in Hewler. Journalists speaking to Rojnews said that the operations should be stopped as soon as possible.
 
'THE STATUS OF THE KURDS IS IN DANGER'
 
Journalist Ferman Reşad stated that the Kurdistan Regional Administration and the Kurdistan Regional Parliament should react to Turkey's operations and should not remain silent, and added: “Turkey has been violating the Kurdistan Region and Iraqi lands for many years. Turkey states that it attacked the Kurdistan Region on the grounds of the PKK's presence, but Turkey is against the Kurdistan Region. Its aims to seize the Kurdistan Region. Therefore, the danger is much greater than it looks. Because Turkey facilitates the military movement within the territory of the Kurdistan Region and easily enters the bases. Therefore, the Kurdistan Regional government and parliament, and the status of the Kurdistan Region is in danger. If one Kurd cooperates with Turkey, all Kurds suffer. Because Turkey uses it for its own interests and its strategy is clear. It is against the status of the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdish people. They are carrying out attacks against the Kurdish people under all conditions in Rojava and Bashur Kurdistan.”
 
TURKEY MUST BE STOPPED
 
Journalist Hengaw Hashim emphasized that the political parties in the Kurdistan Regional Parliament should not remain silent against Turkey's attacks and said: "A special session should be held in the parliament to stop Turkey's attacks on the Kurdistan Region's territory. Turkey's aim is to seize all the lands of the Kurdistan Region and to seize the economy and capital of the Kurdistan Region. However, the indifference of the government to Turkey's attacks leaves a question mark in our minds. Because the threat is very real in the territory of Kurdistan. Turkey should be stopped.”
