URFA - As the sit-in for justice continues, Şenyaşar family shared the following message: "Persecution continues because there is no justice. What sort of a persecution system survived in the history as long as it continues the persecution?"

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 571. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. While Emine Şenyaşar was on sit-in due to health problems in her house in Suruç district; Ferit Şenyaşar started the sit-in early in the morning in the area called "Şenyaşar family justice corner" in front of the Urfa Courthouse. Şenyaşar hung a banner reading "Justice for the Şenyaşar family, justice for all" on the concrete blocks in front of the courthouse.

 

The family shared the following message from their Twitter account with the hashtag "Büyük Yürüyüş" (Great Rally), "The justice continues to bleed in Urfa. Justice won't bring back the dead but it heals the bleeding heart. Persecution continues because there is no justice. What sort of a persecution system survived in the history as long as it continues the persecution?"
