NEWS CENTER- Chemical attacks were protested with marches in Athens, Greece, and Limassol city of Cyprus.

 

Young members of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) protested the death of 11 HPG and YJA Star members with chemical weapons in Syntagma Square in Athens, Greece. The march continued with torches and slogans from Syntagma square to Monastriyaki square in the evening.

 

Making a statement on behalf of TCŞ, Sinan Öztürk said, "While we still grieve for 17 of our guerrilla friends, we learned that 11 more guerrillas were martyred today. It has been declared by the PKK to all international institutions that the documents will be shared if requested. We call on the institutions, especially the OPCW, to be impartial in substance, not in word, and we expect the people from everywhere, especially from Greece, to protest this inhumane situation.”

 

While the march ended with applause, a call was made for a march to be held in front of the Turkish Consulate against chemical attacks on December 29 at 17:00.

 

LIMASOL

 

Kurds living in Limassol, Cyprus, and their friends protested the chemical attacks with a march. Kurds came together in Teofilos Kurdish Cultural Center and started walking from here. In the action that continued until the Municipality of Limassol, the slogans "Bijî berxwedana gerila", "Bijî Serok Apo", "Biji PKK", "Killer Erdogan", "Get out of the invading Turkish Kurdistan", "Bimre xiyanet" were shouted.

 

The protest, which turned into a rally in front of the Limassol municipality, started with a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives as a result of chemical attacks. Kurdish politician Lezgin Serhat made a speech after the statement prepared by the Kurdish People's Assembly of Cyprus was read.
