NEWS CENTER - Stating that an aid campaign has been launched for the earthquake victims, TAJÊ Diplomacy member Suham Şengalî said: "Those who came here to save the Ezidis in the massacre were the sons of Bakur Kurdistan and Rojava Kurdistan. Now it's our turn to cooperate."

Many cities of Kurdistan, Turkey and Syria were affected by the Maraş which is epicentered earthquakes. In the spirit of mobilization, aid is being collected for earthquake victims in all four parts of Kurdistan and Turkey. In Shengal, which is constantly targeted by Turkey and the KDP, the Ezidi community also launched an aid campaign for earthquake victims.

Speaking about the aid campaign initiated by the Shengal Autonomous Administration and the Free Ezidis Women's Movement (TAJÊ), TAJÊ member diplomacy member Suham Şengalî stated that they declared a mobilization for earthquake victims.

EZİDİS MOVEMENT

Stating that they felt the pain of the peoples of Rojava and Bakur, Şengali said: "Bakur and Rojava Kurdistan were affected the most by the earthquake. As Shengal, we launched a campaign in solidarity with our people in Bakur Kurdistan and Rojava Kurdistan. We declared mobilization in Shengal."

Stating that Ezidis are a society that has been subjected to massacres and suffering, Şengali said: “Today, we feel, understand and share the pain of our people in Bakur because we are the society that is killed and massacred the most, the society that understands and feels the pain best. We know best what it means to be left alone. The images shared in the earthquake areas from Bakur are very painful for us. We will do our best for earthquake victims. We will mobilize all our resources and we will not leave our people alone.”

'TOGETHER WE SHALL HEAL WOUNDS'

Stating that they will continue their aid and support until the peoples of Bakur and Rojava heal their wounds, Şengalî said: "The state left the people alone in Bakur and Rojava Kurdistan. That is why we should not leave our people alone. Today, our people are going through a very difficult and troublesome process. The interest of the people is very great. Not only in Shengal, but in general, the people of Bashur have an intense solidarity to help. In Êzidism, it is said, 'When you do a favor, don't ask what religion or nationality you belong to.' That's why we don't care about anyone's opinion, religion or race. We want to help and in solidarity. We want to help without discrimination. As Êzidî women, we will continue to help and support the earthquake victims until they heal their wounds. Those who came here to save the Êzidî people in the Ferman were the children of Bakur and Rojava. Today is our turn for solidarity."
