DERSİM - At least 9 people, including journalist Ertan Çıta, were detained in the operation against Partizan readers.
Police raided many houses in Dersim, Istanbul and Hatay early in the morning. The police also raided the office of Yeni Democracy Newspaper in Dersim and confiscated the newspaper archives and books in the office. New Democracy reporter Ertan Çıta and Hıdır Güler were detained during house raids in Dersim.
According to the news of Yeni Demokrat newspaper, at least 9 people, including Partizan readers, were detained in 3 provinces. It was stated that there were arrest warrants for many people. It was noted that those detained in Dersim will be taken to Istanbul.
Some of those detained are as follows: Ertan Çıta, Ali Asker Akkoç, Nihat Konak, Aysel Kaya, Nesimi Ataş.
