ANTALYA - 22 people who allegedly participated in the Three Fidan(Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan, Hüseyin İnan) commemoration in Antalya and "made propaganda for a terrorist organization" were detained.

 

Many addresses were raided, citing the commemoration event held in front of the Attalos Statue in Antalya on May 6, 2023, for the anniversary of the execution of Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan and Hüseyin İnan, one of the leaders of the revolutionary movement in Turkey. Police detained 22 people, including many members of non-governmental organizations and political parties, within the scope of the investigation launched on the allegation of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization". The detained people were taken to Antalya Provincial Police Department. It was stated that there were arrest warrants for 30 people within the scope of the investigation.

 

Some of the names taken into custody are as follows: MEP Antalya Provincial Chairperson Hasan Alkan, Eğitim Sen Antalya Branch Chairperson, Nurettin Sönmez, Eylem Karaman, Nehir Doğan, Serhat Nejat Çelik, Enes Keskin, Ahmet İzci, Haluk Kurt, Adem Palalı, Kadir Öztürk, Çiğdem Altıntaş Peker, Hasan Özseçen, Hasan Taşkın, Yaşar Sarıpınar, Dide Simay, Öykü Ağtaş, Ömer Güreli, Yeliz Teke, Derya Dinç, Sabri Kırdar ve Mahir Doğan.
