MÊRDÎN - DBP District CoChair Remziye Bayhan, whose house was raided in Nisêbîn, was detained.
 
Early in the morning hours, the house of Democratic Regions Party (DBP) District CoChair Remziye Bayhan was raided in the Nisêbîn (Nusaybin) district of Mêrdîn. While belongings were being distributed in the house where special operations police entered by breaking the doors, Bayhan, who was detained, was taken to Mardin Provincial Police Department.
 
Bayhan was detained and released following the incident in which YJA-Star member Kader Acar lost his life on July 25 in the district. It was conveyed to the family that the reason for Bayhan's detention was related to the same incident.
