ŞIRNEX – The military blockade in Hespist village of Şirnex's Hezex (İdil) district was abolished after 13 days.

The military blockade of Hespist village in Şirnex's Hezex (İdil) district was ended. On December 24, 2023, a military operation was launched in the region, saying "there was a notice". Soldiers blockaded the village and banned entry and exit for a while.

The soldiers who set up tents around the village and stayed here for days subjected those who wanted to enter and leave the village to identity checks.

In its statement on December 26, Şırnak Governorship declared Gabar Mountain, located between Şırnak center and Güçlükonak district, as a "temporary special security" zone for 15 days.

People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Şirnex Deputy Newroz Uysal Aslan went to the village under military blockade with her party members on December 30 and listened to the problems of the citizens.
