Indictment ready for Sinan Ateş murder

ANKARA - In the investigation into the murder of former Grey Wolves Chair Sinan Ateş, an indictment was filed against 22 people for "premeditated murder".
 
Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed its investigation into the murder of former Grey Wolves Chair Sinan Ateş, who died as a result of an armed attack in Ankara Cukurambar on December 30, 2022. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against 22 people for the crime of "premeditated murder". The indictment in question was sent to the Ankara 31st High Criminal Court, which also handled the Ayhan Bora Kaplan Case.
 
WHAT HAPPENED?
 
Former Grey Wolves Chair Sinan Ateş died as a result of an armed attack in Cukurambar, Ankara, on December 30, 2022. Within the scope of the investigation, 22 people, including the hitman Eray Ozyagci, the organizer of the protest Dogukan Cep, former Grey Wolves managers Tolgahan Demirbaş, Emre Yüksel, lawyer Serdar Oktem and 3 police officers, have been arrested. In the expert report on the murder of Sinan Ateş, it was revealed that Grey Wolves Chair Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım requested Ateş's address. From the phone of Tolgahan Demirbaş, who was caught and released at the house of former MHP Deputy Olcay Guide, deleted but whose data was recovered a special program, information revealing that the Ateş assassination was planned months ago was revealed.
