ANKARA - Emine Şenyaşar, who underwent surgery over the weekend, came to Parliament as soon as she was discharged from the hospital to continue her struggle.

Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered and one son was arrested in an attack by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP MP in 2018 in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha (Urfa), has been discharged from the hospital where she underwent surgery. Şenyaşar, went to the room of her son Ferit Şenyaşar, MP for Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Riha, to continue her protest in the Parliament instead of resting.

OPERATED FOR THE FOURTH TIME

Making a short statement here, Şenyaşar said that he had been ill continuously after the massacre and that he had undergone four surgeries since the day he started the protest. Şenyaşar stated that his son Fadıl Şenyaşar, who was arrested after the massacre of his family, is not guilty of any crime and that AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdoğan knew this as well as the whole world, and said: “Why are they doing this? Have some conscience and release my son.”

'THE PARLIAMENT SPEAKER PROMISED'

Şenyaşar stated that he is still looking for his son and said: “People go to the children when they have an operation. But I am not going and I will be in the Parliament. The speaker of the Parliament gave me a promise. They should let my child go and I can go home. Enough they killed us too.”
