Member of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Vedat Özer came to the agenda on the first day of the trustee appointment in Êlih (Batman) with the announcement “Attention, this is a public announcement, leave our municipalities immediately, attention, this is a public warning, leave our municipalities”. Vedat Özer was arrested. 

 

Özer, who was detained with police violence on November 6 during the trustee protests, was referred to Batman Courthouse after his procedures at Batman Provincial Security Directorate. The prosecutor demanded the arrest of Özer, who was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace on the charge of “resisting to prevent the execution of his duty” without taking his statement. Özer appeared before the judge and was arrested for the same reason.
