ANKARA - Abdullah Öngüllü was released from Afyon Prison after 30 years of imprisonment.

Abdullah Öngüllü, a prisoner of 30 years in Afyon Type T Prison No 1, was released last night. Arrested in 1994 and sentenced to life imprisonment, Öngöllü was welcomed by his family in front of the prison. Öngöllü, who travelled to Istanbul after his release, is expected to go to his hometown Sêrt (Siirt) next week.
