The attacks of Turkey and its paramilitary groups called SNA against the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria continue. The clashes have ntensified around Tishreen Dam and Qaraqozad Bridge in the south of Kobanê. Syrian Democratic Forces' (SDF) self-defence campaign against the attacks continues. Against the threats of attacks against Kobanê, the symbol of the defeat of ISIS, a vigil was launched on the Pirsûs-Kobanê and Qamishlo-Nisêbin (Nusaybin) borders.  

 

 

Evaluating the latest developments in Kobanê, Democratic Union Party (PYD) Kobanê Executive Bekir Hecî Îsa stated that the city is being targeted both directly and privately. 

 

'ATTACKING WITH NATO BEHIND IT'

 

Bekir Hecî Îsa stated that Turkey attacked the Autonomous Administration regions based on the power of NATO and said: "Turkey wants to leave the Kurds without status and gain in the coming years with these attacks. However, we are not the old Kurds and we have power. We are strong enough to defent what we have. There has been a great resistance at Tishreen Dam and Qaraqozak Bridge for days. Turkey and SNA are attacking here with all their might."

 

KOBANÊ RESISTANCE

 

"They show all tehir hostility and attack our forces with the lates technological means. Our forces, on the other hand, put up a great resistance with their individual weapons. We salute this resistance. This resistance takes its spirit from Kobanê. The people of Kobanê are also with the resistance fighters. We believe in our fighters; this resistance force will defend its people until the end. We call on all our forces, political parties and all our people in four parts of Kurdistan to support the Kobanê resistance against this occupation. The memory of the Kobanê resistance is wanted to be erased. By breaking this resistance, they are trying to break the entire resistance of the Kurdish people," Bekir Hecî Îsa said. 

 

'WE WILL CONTINUE TO DEFEND OURSELVES'

 

Stressed that they will continue to defend themselves against the attacks, Bekir Hecî Îsa added: "Our victory will be the victory of the Kurdsih people. Those who are fighting against us today have no plans for the future and life of the Kurdish people. Turkey is not in favour of us defending ourselves and our people. That is why they targeted and are targeting the democratic life here. But today we are not alone. There are those we are travelling together. We will continue to defend ourselves with our resistance."
