Mass visit to Zehra Sebat's condolence

AMED - A mass visit was made to the condolence site established in Amed for YJA STAR member Zehra Sebat, who died on 7 October 2024. 

A condolence was established in Amed (Diyarbakır) for YJA STAR fighter Zehra Sebat (Rojada Azad), who died on 7 October 2024 in Xakurke area in Federe Kurdistan Region. The condolence held at Ben û Sen Condolence House in Yenişehir district was visited en masse. Under the leadership of MEBYA-DER, Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Amed provincial and district Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinen Azad-TJA) executives and members and many citizens attended the condolence.  The slogans "Şehit namirin (Martyr won't die)" were frequently chanted at the condolence.
 
MEBYA-DER Co-chair Mehmet Emin Kılıç expressed his condolences to Zehra Sebat's family. Addressing the peoples and those waging a struggle for democracy, Kılıç drew attention to the discussions on the solution of the Kurdish issue and emphasised that everyone should take responsibility.
 
The visit ended after the prayers.
