NEWS CENTRE - A mass grave was found in Daraa region. It is estimated that there are more than 50 bodies in the grave. 

 

A mass grave was found yesterday in Izray city of Syria's Daraa region. While 5 bodies were exhumed from the grave, it is estimated that there may be more than 50 bodies. It was reported that the exumation of other bodies was postponed due to weather conditions. 

 

In January this year, a mass grave was also found in the city of Sanam, north of Daraa. On 16 December 2024, another mass grave was found in the hamlet of Kiweti on the outskirts of the city controlled by the Izraeli Difa al-Weteni militia. The bodies of 31 people, including women and children, were exhumed from the grave.
