Journalist Ataman wasn't released

ŞIRNAK- In the case 19 people stood trial 9 of them being arrestees including journalist Ziya Ataman whose bowels have failed in prison, no one was released.

Ziya Ataman, reporter of DIHA which has been shut down with a law decree and a prisoner since April 11, 2016 stood trial for the 4th time in Şırnak 1st Criminal Court  .
 
Journalist ataman attended the trial via video call (SEGBİS).
 
Court board decided continuation of detention and postpone the trial to January 17, 2019.
