URFA- The prisoners staying in Siverek Ytpe T Prison, call on to the public opinion for sensetivity towards the fact that they recieved a solitary confinement punishment for the books that were approved by the prison administration.

 

Political detainees at Siverek T-Type Closed Prison have told about the violations of right they were subjected to through their families.

 

The prisoners stating that their petitions regarding their transfer to district prisons  were not put into process by the Chief Prosecutor's Office, said: " The outcome of these petitions through our relatives was asked from the prosecution; however, no petition was submitted to the prosecutor's office. As it is understood from here, our petitions have been hung out to the arbitrary treatment of the prison administration. Also last month, the prison administration changed the wards with another arbitrary practice and placed us in the dormitories that are unliveable.As a result of continuous searches in the wards, our books (which were taken within the knowledge of the prison administration) were confiscated and we were charged with various offenses. We were subjected to solitary confinement punishments up to 15-20 days and our social activities were prohibited."
