'We will be the voice of Güven and the other political prisoners'

ADANA- HDP Adana Provincial Women's Council stating that they will be the voice of Güven and the other political prisoners, said they will struggle to get the demand of the hunger strikers met.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Adana Provincial Women's Council held a press conference at the party building to draw attention to the demand of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) and Leyla Guven, who is on a hunger strike for 85 days against the ongoing aggravated isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
 
Speaking at the meeting attended by a large number of women HDP Adana Provincial Women's Council  spokesperson Saniye Seçgin reminded that Güven and 281 political prisoners are on hunger strike with the demand of terminating the isolation.
Seçgin  said hunger strike actions of the detainees who demanded the termination of absolute isolation,who want to bring peace to the country are at a critical stage. Seçgin who stated that the demand is legitimate and humane called on to the authorities to terminate the isolation and meet de demands.
 
'WE WILL BE THEIR VOICE'
 
HDP Adana Women's Council Member Emine Adıbelli also stated that they will be the voice of Güven and the political prisoners in resistance. HDP Adana Women's Council member Suzan Kilic said that they will be with them and they will fight for their demands.
