SİİRT - The residents of Konakpinar (Eynqesr) village in the Kurtalan district of Siirt, complained about the failure to provide services to their villages since 1993, even though they are located 6 kilometers away from the district center. The village residents said "People go to the moon, in 2019 there is no water in our village. It's a shame". The village residents only request is the water to be brought to their villages.
The residents of Konakpinar (Eynqesr) village of Kurtalan district of Siirt are still deprived of water in 2019. There are approximately 150 households in the village of 807 residents. Kurtalan town center is 6 kilometers away, the main road is 400 meters away. However, according to the narrative of the residents of the village no infrastructure service was provided since 1993.
For years, the most important problem of the villagers have been the water problem .They are fullfilling their need for the water from the next village .However, this water does not reach the houses. Therefore, some families can supply water for animals from wells and for their daily use. The main livelihoods of the villagers are agriculture and livestock. They have approximately 3 thousand small ruminants and 300 cattle in the village whic is still covered in mud.
The villagers complain that every election time parties came to their village asking votes but non brought any service yet. Their only wish is fort hem to bring water to their village.
