Journalist Mehmet Güleş on hunger strike

ELAZIĞ- Detainee journalist Mehmet Güleş announced that he joined the hunger strike on March 5. Güleş who stated that the violations of rights are continuing in the prison, said they are feeling fine no matter what.

Mehmet Güleş a reporter of Dicle News Agency (DİHA) which was closed down with a statuary decree , have sent a letter to Mezopotamya Agency (MA) and told about the violations of rights and the current situation about the hunger strikes. Güleş announced that he joined the hunger strike initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven on March 5.
 
Güleş who said they are feeling fine despite all the oppression, said there are 78 people on hunger strike in scope of the hunger strikes started on December 16 in Elazığ Prison.
