Prisoners' interview with their attorneys will be recorded

KOCAELİ- Gebze Judiciary of Execution decided to record the interviews of the prisoners with their attorneys.

Gebze Enforcement Judge decided to record 68 prisoners in Gebze M-Type Women's Closed Prison for three months with technical devices. Judge made the decision in accordance with the  Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.Chief Procesutor's office demanded that the interviews of the prisoners to be recorded with technical devices and video recorders on March 26-27, after Ayten Beçet ended her life protesting the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
 
In its March 27 ruling, the judge accepted the prosecution's request. With this decision, all the interviews of the 68 prisoners with lawyers in Gebze Women's Prison will be recorded with audio and video for 3 months, followed by an official.
