Kocaman who is on hunger strike for 109 days in Bolu Type F Closed Prison demanding the termination of isolation in İmralı, sent a message via her family. Kocaman who stated that he has been resisting the past 109 days, criticizing the silence, said: "There is no respondent. What makes it harder for us is the silence. We can understand the silence of the institutions, but the silence of our people is trying. We know that mothers are waiting at the gates of the prisons. We know that the people want to do something."
Kocaman added: "We are resisting with the spirit of july 14. That's our only focus. To be in this historic resistance gives us great responsibilitiy. Comrade Leyla, Comrade Nasır, our friends who started a death fast.. We all have great responsibility and we have to be aware of it. We are strong, our morale is high, we are focused on the victory. We will break this isolation. There is nothing else. Whatever the price is. We are not afraid of prices."
