ANKARA - The detainees who were given serum in Kayseri Bünyan Prison are getting sick. Prisoners have high blood pressure, dizziness and tremors.Prisoners are being carried with wheel chairs to visits.
It was learned that the prisoners who ended the hunger strike in Kayseri Bünyan Women's Prison were being given the wrong kind of IV Drips.Lawyers for Freedom Lawyers Association (ÖHD) gave information about what happened in Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Amasya and Tokat prisons.
Berivan Bitmen, Mashallah Erbey, Merge Polat, Sinem Oguz, and Saliha Cebe, who had been on hunger strike for more than 100 days, following the withdrawal of blood, urine, and ECG, the prisoners were subjected to ill-treatment by doctors and health workers. While handuffs were imposed on the detainees, the prisoners got worsened when the wrong IV drops were applied after the tests. Symptoms like shivering, high blood pressure and dizziness were observed.
When the prisoners asked the staff what was in the IV drip when the staff scorned them that the IV drips were going to waste, it was learned that the staff answered that they were not poisining them.
