MARDİN - Police raided Hakkari and Yüksekova District Municipality, Van's Erciş Municipality and Mardin's Nusaybin Municipality. Co-Mayors are under custody.
Operations against People's Democratic Party (HDP) executives and members continue. Hakkari center and Yüksekova (Gever) district municipality, Mardin's Nusaybin Municipality and Van's Erciş District Municipalities were raided by the police early this morning. Co-Mayors are under custody.
Hakkari Municipality building was raided by the special forces. Co-Mayor Cihan Karaman's adress was also raided. The search in the municipality building continues while Karaman is detained by the police.

Yuksekeskova Municipality Co-Mayors Remziye Yaşar and İrfan Sarı were also taken into custody.
Mardin's Nusaybin Municipality Co-Mayors Remziye Yaşar and İrfan Sarı are also taken into custody.
The "Crisis Center" established by the municipality in order to eliminate the grievances in Nusaybin is among the addresses that have been raided. During the raid, the police battered the people working there. In this raid, Mehmet Emin Alkan, a member of Nusaybin Municipality Council, was taken into custody.
The detained co-chairs and councilors were reportedly held at the District Police Department. 3 people are expected to be taken to TEM Branch of Provincial Security Directorate.
The number of detentions in the city was reported to be more.
Van's Erciş District Co-Mayors Yıldız Çetin and Bayram Çiçek are also taken into custody.
In addition to the Co-chairs, Council members Erhan Akbaş, District Co-chairs Hicran Kandemir and Şakir Asıl are also taken into custody during police raids to their homes.
