Continuation of detention for Demirtaş despite the release decision

ANKARA - The release of HDP former Co- Chair Selahattin Demirtaş decided within the scope of the new judicial reform for the case he was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months. However, Demirtaş who has another sentence for another case is not being released. 
 
People's Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş was released from the case he was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months within the scope of the new judicial reform package.
 
With the new judicial reform package, the application of the attorneys, a release verdict about Demirtaş was given by the court. However Demirtaş remains in prison because of another case.
