Sur Municipal Councilors of HDP removed from duty

DİYARBAKIR - Following the arrest of the Co-Mayors of Sur Municipality, 6 municipal councilors of the HDP were removed from duty on the grounds of investigations and prosecutions about them.

 
Following the arrests of HDP's Sur Municipality Co-Mayors Filiz Buluttekin and Cemal Özdemir on December 21, this time the municipal councilors were removed from duty. 6 of the 21 municipal councilors of HDP were removed from duty with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization'.
 
The names of the dismissed councilors are Sevim Coşkun, Ruşen Tayfun, Halime Akyol, Mürsel Erel ve Yılmaz Eken.
