ANKARA – HDP Former Co- chair Selahattin Demirtaş spoke about Kadir İnanır being targeted for going to Demirtaş's book Devran being staged and said: "Those knives and forks you are throwing at us do not hurt us anymore. On the other hand they encourage us to stand together, they make us feel courage. Go ahead, things are changing."

Demirtaş said from Edirne Type F Closed Prison: "Today's Jülide and Kadir have already took their honourable place in history while the lynch group have become the symbol of dishonour. Those knives and forks you are throwing at us do not hurt us anymore. On the other hand they encourage us to stand together, they make us feel courage. Go ahead, things are changing."

Demirtaş said: "Hello everyone. It's been a long time since I adressed you from twitter.  When the sewage media of the government attacked the hopes of peace and democracy with its usual knives and forks, I felt the need to say a few things.

Let's start by asking the question: Why is the AKP Government turning into a bull that saw red when it comes to peace? Why is it instantly declaring anyone who wants peace as a terrorist? Every sane person knows the answer to it, right?Because they need coffins to hide behind. They need to see our children in coffins to make sure the unemployment, poverty and corruption not to be questioned. If there is peace, there will be no issue for them to exploit. With nationalism and survivability, they will no longer be able to polarize and confront society, nor can they get votes from that. That's why they are furious at those who insist on peace.

Today's Jülide and Kadir have already took their honourable place in history while the lynch group have become the symbol of dishonour. Those knives and forks you are throwing at us do not hurt us anymore. On the other hand they encourage us to stand together, they make us feel courage. Go ahead, things are changing.

Greetings with love."
