ELAZIĞ - Aftershocks continue to impact after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Elazig.

Aftershocks continue after the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Sivrice district of Elazig yesterday evening at 20.55. Elazığ suffered more than 13 aftershocks with magnitudes more than 4 since yesterday. The total number of aftershocks are almost 300.
 
The latest aftershock in the districk was a 4.3 magnitude aftershocj in a depth of 3.4 kms.
 
It is stated that the citizens in Sivrice and Elazığ are panicking.
