DERSİM- University students, who were released 4 days after having been taken into custody in house raids in Dersim, stated that they were imposed to be agents for the state and that the demonstrations they involved for the missing Gülistan Doku were the subject of the charges.

7 university students were released yesterday, who were detained on the grounds of "being a member of an organization" and "making propaganda for an organization" in the home raids in Dersim on February 14. The students stated that they were imposed to be agents and that the actions which they have attended regarding the missing university student Gülistan Doku, the 1 May events, the demonstrations against the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan were the subjects of the charges.

‘PRIVATE INTERVIEW' IMPOSITION

Pointing out that they went on a hunger strike in order to react to detentions at the Provincial Police Directorate, Şiyar Şevli said that they were not given sugar in this process. Stating that some people among the police imposed "private interview' Şevli said, "They had an illegal, lawyer-free meeting with our friends. We knew that they were offering to be agents They made these conversations in order to get information. They invited 4 of ours friends to those interviews." They called our 4 friends this way." Şevli said that every person in custody was asked about the activities related to the missing Gülistan Doku, "This was shown as a crime. On May 1, it is said that I am in the organizing group, opening a banner, participating in the isolation against isolation. These were all legal statements. There is no crime."

'DEMONSTRATIONS AND EVENT CONSIDERED AS CRIME'

Stating that he was questioned under the name of "interview", Mustafa Abdaloğulları explained his experience as follows: "They asked questions like: 'In which department are you studying at the university, what do you plan to do in the future' and they used sentences like: 'we would help you, we know the people around you, we will help you in your life and exams. Have a cup of tee with us outside'. I said that I was against such offers and that I didn't need someone to help me. The protest against the May 1 rally, demonstrations related to Gülistan Doku and the attacks against Kurdish students at Akdeniz University were considered as a crime."
