Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly will attend the congress to be held on Sunday (February 23rd) with the slogan "We Women are persistent in freedom and determined to fight". The women's assembly have prepared for the congress with 7 regional meetings and with the 3rd Women's Conference with their determination to eliminate the poverty of women and the exploitation of the women's labour, with their struggle against the male dominance in the party and against the male violence against women and women's gains.

 

HDP Women's Council Spokesperson Dilan Dirayet Taşdemir spoke to the Mesopotamia Agency (MA) about the meaning of the Congress for women and the new term women's policies of HDP.

 

Pointing out that HDP's idea and politics are taking root and growing today, Taşdemir stated that there is an agreement that HDP Women's Council will be made more visible in the new period. Stating that it is necessary to meet women more against war politics, economic crisis, marginalizing language, hatred and hate politics, said that as HDP hey act with the perspective of organizing masses against fascism, reaching the masses and rising to power.

 

Emphasizing that HDP will demonstrate an understanding in the congress on February 23 that aspires to the country's administration, Taşdemir said they adopt a management approach with women.

 

Stating that as HDP Women's Council, women will be acting with a political understanding as the guarantor of the society against the monopolistic approach in the upcoming period, said: "The management approach we demand is marked by the struggle for freedom of women, where women are liberated and there is equality in every field of life where women are called equal citizens."
