DİYARBAKIR- United Kurdish Women Platform has announced a call for solidarity against the coronavirus outbreak and the attack against Kurdish people. In the statement it was declared: "This is the day for the Kurds increase their national unity and gain strength."

 

United Kurdish Women Platform has declared a written statement regarding the increasing embargo and air strikes against Mahmur (Mexmûr) Camp amid the coronavirus outbreak. Platform states that: "Kurdistan people pass through a difficult period as they face with the racists and sexists attacks of the sovereigns. On the other hands, occupiers use the coronavirus pandemic as a weapon against the Kurds. They put obstacles against the social solidarity and justify the woman killings."

 

CALL FOR SOLIDARITY

 

The Platform also raises the following call: "As the Kurdish women, we have a call for the Kurdish parties, organizations, leaders. Do not let the Kurdish people dependant to the occupiers. We should make the peace inside permanent in such a difficult period. Because, even the life of just one Kurd is in danger, the hearts of the mothers and the society are shattered down. This is the day for the Kurds increase their national unity and gain strength. This is the day for the Kurds to save each other from the occupiers and to strengthen the freedom struggle of Kurdistan."
