Father Yılmaz said: "My son told me that their treatment is not being done on time with the outbreak and their health problems was detoriorating day by day."

Father Yılmaz, telling about the phone call he made with his son, said: "He is suffering from asthma and sleep apnea for a long time. The prison doctors said he needed to be in treatment but no treatment was done. He had trouble speaking when we last spoke. He is coughing all the time and he is short of breathe. He said he is not doing well and that we should be ready for bad news."

Yılmaz, stating that his son told him that the violations of rights increase on a daily basis in prison and there was a lack of hygiene, said: "The new law on execusion is a way of torture.
