ADIYAMAN - Citizens of Adıyaman, which was most affected by the earthquake, marched to the Adıyaman Governor's Office to protest the authorities who did not carry out search and rescue efforts. Officials were removed from the governor's office under police protection.

In Adıyaman, one of the cities most affected by the Maraş Pazarcık-centered earthquake, the earthquake victims, who could not find tents and shelter, spent the night by lighting a fire and by the rubble. While cries for help are still coming under much rubble, search and rescue efforts are insufficient. In the city, where search and rescue efforts are not carried out, the people are against the government.

The people, who did not leave the rubble, marched to the Adıyaman Governor's Office after the work was not done. Authorities were evacuated from the building under police protection.

The waiting of the citizens in front of the governor's office continues.

The people of Adıyaman, who were walking to the governorship yesterday, condemned: "Where is the help, you all have families, don't you have any mercy?" Governor Mahmut Çuhadar defended himself with a grin.
