ISTANBUL - Evaluating the election results, journalist İnci Hekimoğlu emphasized that the Kurds did their part in the second round and could not melt the 50 percent against Erdoğan, and emphasized that the struggle should never be abandoned.

The candidate of the People's Alliance, who carried out the election campaign with all the means of the state, AKP Chairperson Tayyip Erdoğan was elected the 13th President according to unofficial results. Evaluating the second round of elections and their results, journalist İnci Hekimoğlu stated that there is an illegal construction and underlined that they will continue to fight against it.

'WE HAVE AN UNLAWFUL STRUCTURE'

Stating that there is a structure that has suspended the law, the law and the Constitution, and that sets its own rules, Hekimoğlu said: "This structure uses all kinds of forceful devices. The bullies stormed the polls with their weapons, and the MPs were beaten. There were dubious situations in many ballot boxes. They did this while looking into our eyes."

THE LINK OF THE OPPOSITION TO THE BASE

Condemning the statement of Ahmet Yener, Chairperson of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), despite the violations and irregularities said that there was no negative situation, Hekimoğlu said: "This was an incredible shamelessness and shamelessness. We knew that the government would always confuse the elections. But there is another problem here. I think that the ties of opposition parties with their grassroots are not as strong as they used to be. That's why opposition parties need to strengthen their ties with their bases."

'KURDS DID THEIR PART IN THE ELECTION'

Saying that Kılıçdaroğlu, the Presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance, is the “most democratic” politician ever to head the CHP, Hekimoğlu said: "Despite everything, Kılıçdaroğlu achieved great success. We voted for Kılıçdaroğlu despite IYI Party Chairperson Meral Akşener and Zafer Party Chairperson Ümit Özdağ. The Kurds did their part in the election. Unfortunately, other segments other than the Kurds either did not go to the polls or did not vote for Kılıçdaroğlu."

Suggesting that they should put a map in front of the CHP and think about why the AKP cannot change the places in its castle, Hekimoğlu said: “After the election, there will be discussions within the parties. The nationalist people within the CHP will take action to sacrifice Kılıçdaroğlu. Kılıçdaroğlu was the CHP's best chance. I hope Kılıçdaroğlu will strengthen the team."
